Re-Elect Kaitlin Sopoci-Belknap!

Water is a basic human right.

As your representative for the past four years I have worked to ensure that our most precious resource stays in the public domain. I believe it is critical that our community maintain local control of our water.

I have made a conscious effort to be an open and accessible public official, trying hard to represent you with integrity, openness and accountability. I have also worked to ensure reasonable rates for Water District customers.

I have served as the Secretary/Treasurer, worked on the “Drink Local Water” campaign, helped the District develop a new and more accessible website, served on the regional Water Task Force, and the District committee to develop a process to protect the District’s water rights for the long term.

As Executive Director of a community organization dedicated to democratic participation, and a Eureka homeowner, I am committed to the health and well-being of our community and our resources.
